In the game, players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playfield. One of the built in structures of the game requires that one cannot go to level two without succeeding at level one. Sometimes in school, we're not sure if all of our students fully understand adding with carrying before we move on to "the next level." We might give a quiz and assess the results, but we probably move along anyway. Is it any wonder that more and more students become frustrated and lose interest?

When playing the game, the user is constantly encouraged to "keep trying."
