Game is set in 1765 where player takes control of the female protagonist Aveline. Game takes place in Louisiana where war between french and Indian is on the peak. France face defeat and the control of the area is under the government of Spain. Game has new combat moves and stealth kills. Player can now pickpocket other people in the game and can use their weapons. Graphics and textures has been modified to ultra level. Game is linked with AC III and has some characters and features which were in AC III. AC III can be easily merged up with this game which will allow player to unlock new appearances, weapons and new upgrades. Game's combat engine has been updated with new moves and assassinations. Player can now assassinate the enemies more silently. New crowd melting appearance of player gives a stealth touch to game. Player can explore the map more efficiently and effectively and trade with other people around the map. New navigation system has been added to game with which player can reach the objective more easily. Game has a mission system in which each mission has a different set of objectives which the player must complete in order to complete the missions. Game can also be played in multiplayer mode. Each player must choose a different appearance and then they all are entered into an area where they all must spot each other and would try to become the sole survivor. New modes and appearances has been added to multiplayer mode. New sound effects has been added to each mission differently which emphasis the theme of the missions more efficiently.
